The 2025–2026 University Padel Tournament officially got underway on Monday evening, with matches taking place from 17 to 20 November at Qatar Foundation’s “The Dome” courts. The tournament is organized by the Qatar Collegiate Sports Federation in collaboration with the Qatar Padel Federation and Qatar Foundation, and features a strong turnout that reflects the sport’s growing popularity among university students.

The draw placed the women’s teams into two groups. Group A includes Qatar University 2, Hamad Bin Khalifa University 2, CUQ Ulster University Qatar 2, and Doha University for Science and Technology 2. Group B features Qatar University 1, Hamad Bin Khalifa University 1, CUQ Ulster University Qatar 1, and Doha University for Science and Technology 1.

CUQ Ulster University Qatar also made a strong debut in its first-ever appearance, with both of its teams reaching the qualification stage. Joining them in the same round are Doha University for Science and Technology 2 and Hamad Bin Khalifa University 1.
