QCSF University Cricket Tournament concludes with Stellar Performances and Fierce Team Spirit
The 2025–2026 QCSF University Cricket Tournament (Men’s Category) came to an exciting close on Saturday, after thrilling competitions organized by the Qatar Collegiate Sports Federation in collaboration with the Qatar Cricket Association and Qatar Foundation, the host of the event. Matches were held at Qatar Foundation’s pitches with the participation of several leading universities and higher education institutions, running until November 22.
At the closing ceremony, Mr. Rashid Saeed Adiba, Secretary-General of the Qatar Collegiate Sports Federation, along with board member Mr. Hamad Al-Shiba, honored the top three teams. They praised the athletes for their exceptional competitive level and the remarkable sportsmanship that defined the entire tournament.
Doha University for Science and Technology claimed first place, with Qatar University securing the runner-up position. Hamad Bin Khalifa University finished third. The final standings reflected both the rising level of competition and the strong presence of all participating teams throughout the Tournament.
This tournament forms part of the QCSF’s ongoing strategy to expand the reach of cricket within universities and to encourage students to compete with high sportsmanship in an inspiring and supportive environment that fosters creativity and excellence.
