The Qatar Collegiate Sports Federation (QCSF) crowned the winners of the 2025–2026 University Volleyball tournament in a festive ceremony held on Wednesday evening. H.E. Dr. Ibrahim Bin Saleh Al-Nuaimi, President of the QCSF, honored the winning men’s and women’s teams on the closing day of the tournament, which took place from 5 to 15 October 2025 at the Qatar University Sports and Events Complex (A07).

In the men’s competition, Qatar University clinched first place and the gold medal, followed by Doha University for Science and Technology, which earned the silver medal, while Hamad Bin Khalifa University secured third place and the bronze.

In the women’s competition, Doha University for Science and Technology (Team 1) claimed the top spot, Qatar University (Team 1) took second place, and another team from Doha University for Science and Technology ((Team 2) finished third ، all in a celebratory atmosphere that underscored the power of education in inspiring sporting excellence and empowering students to reach new heights of achievement and success.

In the men’s individual awards, Mostafa Ahmed (Qatar University) was named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the tournament, while Bader Kamal (Qatar University) received the Best Spiker award, and Abdullah Mohammed (University of Doha for Science and Technology) earned the Best Blocker honor.

In the women’s individual awards, Simay Koc (University of Doha for Science and Technology 1) claimed the MVP title, Djihane Mahraz (University of Doha for Science and Technology 1) was recognized as the Best Blocker, and Kaitlin Skye Cruz (Qatar University) received the Best Spiker award.

The tournament featured the participation of men’s teams representing Doha University for Science and Technology, Qatar University, Hamad Bin Khalifa University, and Weill Cornell Medicine Qatar, along with women’s teams from Doha University for Science and Technology (1 & 2), Qatar University (1 & 2), and Hamad Bin Khalifa University.

Organized by the Qatar Collegiate Sports Federation, in collaboration with the Qatar Volleyball Association and Qatar University, the championship reflects the Federation’s commitment to offering a distinctive athletic experience for higher education institutions , empowering every student to move, grow, and be inspired through sport.
