Thrilling Action at QCSF Universities Cross Country Tournament 2025–2026
In a vibrant and highly competitive atmosphere, QCSF Universities Cross Country Tournament for the 2025–2026 season witnessed impressive participation from students at the campus of Qatar University. The races reflected advanced technical performance and a strong spirit of sportsmanship among all participants.
During the awards ceremony, Mr. Hamad Saleh Al Shiba, the QCSF Board Member, honored the top three winners in both the individual and team competitions, praising the students’ outstanding performances.
In the individual race, Osama Mohammed Tais Al-Jumaili secured first place with a time of 17:54, followed by Abdurrahman Mohammed Faraj Bajida in second place with 17:56, while Amani Julis finished third with a time of 18:14.
In the team standings, Qatar University claimed first place with 11 points, followed by Ahmed Bin Mohammed Military college in second place with 16 points, while University of Doha for Science and Technology finished third with 29 points. The tournament will continue with the women’s race scheduled for early April at Oxygen Park, as part of ongoing efforts to promote university sports and encourage an active lifestyle among students.
