12th ordinary AUSF General Assembly concluded successfully
Dubai, UAE – From May 7th-8th in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, the 12th ordinary AUSFGeneral Assembly came to a successful end, with the attendance of 31 members.
Besides the member federations, distinguished guests also attended the Assembly and made their remarks in the first day. Among them were Ali Massari Al DHAHERI , Executive Director of the UAE Sports Federation for School and University Education Institutions; FISU Acting President, Leonz Eder; Adam ROCZEK , EUSA President; Alim MALUF NETO , President of FISU-America; Roestam Effendi SIJAR, Secretary General, ASEAN University Sports Council; and Godigamuwage Luxman WIJESURIYA, Vice President of the Asian Chess Federation.
At the first day of the General Assembly, the proposal of reducing the term of Executive Member from 6 to 4 years was adopted, and Qatar Collegiate Sports Federation was officially approved to be member of AUSF, making the total number of AUSF amount to 41.
During the General Assembly, a new Executive Committee for the period of 2023-2027 was elected at the second day of the meeting.
