The competitions of the QCSF University football and basketball tournaments for the sport season 2023-2024 , were held successfully for the third week in a row at University of Doha for Science and Technology arena and Qatar Foundation Arena.

In football event, the participating teams fought tooth and nail , as each team strives hard to go forward to step up the podium by the end of the season. In the first game, University of Doha for Science and Technology edged out Weill Cornell Medicine – Qatar 3-0, while in the second game, Oryx Universal College drew 1-1 against Texas A&M University at Qatar.

On the same track of victory, Ahmed bin Mohammed Military College ensured a big 13-0 victory over Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar in the third game, likewise, Northwestern University in Qatar got better of Weill Cornell Medicine – Qatar 4-1 in the fourth game.

Likewise, the men’s basketball event were not free from competitive spirit, in the first game , Georgetown University in Qatar sealed a narrow 68-64 win over Global Studies Institute(GSI) Qatar , while Texas A&M University at Qatar defeated Qatar University 42-32 in the second game.

Both tournaments are running under the umbrella of the QCSF, in collaboration with the Qatar’s football and basketball federations, Qatar University and Qatar Foundation.
