The competitions of the Qatar Universities Ramadan Futsal Tournament 2024 got underway on Saturday evening at the Qatar University’s Sports & Events Complex , the prestigious event will run from 16th to 27th of March, 2024.

Police College team opened their campaign in the tournament with a 10-1 convincing victory over GSI with Arkansas State University – Qatar in the first game, while Hamad Bin Khalifa University and Ahmed Bin Mohammed Military College drew 3-3 in the second match.

This tournament is bringing together eight teams from different Universities and colleges , distributed into two groups, group A includes, Police College, GSI with Arkansas State University – Qatar , Qatar University and Lusail University, while group B includes, Ahmed Bin Mohammed Military College, University of Doha for Science and Technology, Police Institute and Hamad Bin Khalifa University.

In a pre-event statement, the QCSF board member, Mr. Rashid Al Tamimi said that by organizing this tournament, the QCSF aims to strengthen inter-relations between students, boosting the value of sport as a significant tool for human development and promoting QCSF logo (Sport inspires Education).
“ This tournament will help improving students’ public health and physical fitness , in addition to keep their effort stable over the remained period of The QCSF’s sport season 2023-2024” added Mr. Al Tamimi.
